About the Role
As a Senior Data Engineer at Nordea, you will be part of the Capability Area Data Engineering team, focusing on building distributed and highly parallelized data processing pipelines. These pipelines handle massive amounts of both structured and unstructured data in near real-time, leveraging tools like Scala and Spark to enrich and transform corporate data. This enables enhanced searching, data visualization, and advanced analytics capabilities.
What You'll Do
- Build and maintain big data processing pipelines.
- Work with Spark to enrich and transform data.
- Collaborate with analysts and business stakeholders to develop analytics models.
- Ensure continuous delivery on Hadoop and other Big Data platforms.
- Automate processes to ensure they are repeatable and reliable.
- Work closely with the QA team to maintain high standards of quality.

Your Experience and Background
- Experience in Agile methodologies.
