About the Role
As a Senior SQL Server DBA at Nordea Asset Management, you will be integral to our IT Platform team. This role involves proactive Life Cycle Management, ensuring our IT platform aligns with current and future business requirements. You will monitor product and delivery plans, manage technical requirements, and maintain close contact with key stakeholders across the business, Group IT, and external vendors to ensure plans are executed effectively.
Responsibilities
- Life Cycle Management: Proactively plan for the IT platform to meet business needs.
- System Monitoring: Oversee system performance and capacity.
- Stakeholder Management: Maintain close relationships with business units, IT teams, and vendors.
- Technical Leadership: Drive taskforces related to performance and technical issues.
- Development and Innovation: Manage application and technical updates, and spearhead the continuous development of the SQL platform.
What You Will Do
- Implement changes in Test and Pre-Production environments.
- Collaborate with vendors, developers, and Group IT to solve problems.
- Ensure the Production platform is ready for changes, drawing on experiences from Test and Pre-Production environments.
- Oversee updates and upgrades to the Production platform.
Who You Are
You are a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of SQL Server administration and maintenance. You are proficient in T-SQL and PowerShell programming and have experience with ETL tools and Microsoft data management tools, including Power BI. Your ability to automate solutions and improve infrastructure for cloud readiness sets you apart.
