About the Role
We are seeking a Senior Web Developer with strong experience in PHP, WordPress, and React to lead the development of web solutions. This role is crucial for creating custom Gutenberg blocks, integrating third-party APIs, and collaborating with the product team to design responsive websites. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem-solver with excellent technical skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement WordPress solutions, including plugins, templates, and widgets.
- Create custom Gutenberg blocks to enhance the content editing experience.
- Integrate third-party APIs and services for dynamic functionality.
- Collaborate with the product team on technical design and planning of web projects.
- Implement responsive web design using HTML5, CSS, SCSS, PHP, React, and Laravel.
- Optimize website performance and database queries (MySQL).
What Makes You a Great Fit
- Proficiency in PHP, Laravel, HTML, CSS, Sass/SCSS, JavaScript/jQuery, React, and WordPress.
- Experience creating custom Gutenberg blocks and working with RESTful and GraphQL APIs.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git.
- Ability to manage time efficiently, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated and capable of working independently, with a collaborative team approach.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Gulp/Grunt/Gatsby, Terminal/Command Line.
- Understanding of SEO best practices and optimization.
