WP Engine is seeking a Senior Web Developer to join our Marketing department. This role involves working remotely on high-traffic, high-performance WordPress sites, utilizing modern technologies and frameworks. You will collaborate with a team of expert developers and internal partners to enhance our company's public presence and support internal operations.

Your Skills and Expertise
- Strong understanding of modern WordPress development.
- Expertise in native block development using React.
- Familiarity with the WordPress Block Editor and theme.json.
- Competence in React, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Experience in front-end web development, including HTML and CSS.
Preferred Skills
- WordPress headless experience; specific experience with Atlas or Faust.js is a plus.
- Familiarity with Next.js and GraphQL.
- Experience with build and automation tools such as Composer, Yarn, Webpack, Docker, CI/CD tools, and shell scripting.
- Solid understanding of automated testing and monitoring.
- Server administration experience.
