Visier Inc., a global leader in AI-powered people analytics, is seeking a talented Software Developer II to join our dynamic team in Berlin. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our technology in one of Europe's most vibrant tech hubs.

About the Role

In this role, you will be one of the main contributors to our newest products, focusing on our total rewards line. These products empower businesses to make better, fairer, and quicker compensation decisions. You will write high-quality code using React and Kotlin to create polished user interfaces and impeccable business logic.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and mentor junior software developers.
Understand requirements, refine them, and translate them into product definition and technical design.
Ensure the product is secure, scalable, and cost-effective, capable of running 24/7.
Work with a modern tech stack including React, Kotlin, PostgreSQL, TypeScript, AWS, and more.

What We Are Looking For

Excellent coding skills in at least one object-oriented server programming language in a Unix environment.
Strong knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
Ability to excel in a fast-paced and proactive work environment.
Commitment to disciplined and top-quality software development.
Strong communication skills.
A strong academic background, with a Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent being desirable.
Two years of work experience is a great asset, along with experience in functional programming languages, client-server programming, modern web technologies, or data science.
