Role Overview
As a Software Engineer focusing on the back-end, you will take full ownership of shipping ambitious product features. You will collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, ship tools to optimize platform performance, and handle client onboarding and integration.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain server-side logic.
- Ensure high performance and responsiveness of the platform.
- Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Implement security and data protection.
- Design and implement data storage solutions.
- Review and approve code changes, mentor junior developers, and ensure adherence to software quality standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 1+ years of software engineering experience, preferably in a startup environment.
- Proficiency in Python and understanding of its libraries and frameworks.
- Experience with PostgreSQL and/or ElasticSearch is a bonus.
- Experience building ETL pipelines is a plus.
