About the Role
As a Software Engineer (Front-End) at Byterat, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of our data platform, specifically designed for battery labs. This role involves developing and shipping ambitious product features, collaborating closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic. You will be responsible for maintaining responsive and high-performance user interfaces using React and TypeScript, and optimizing GraphQL queries and mutations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and ship product features in collaboration with back-end teams.
- Maintain and enhance user interfaces to ensure responsiveness and performance.
- Implement and optimize GraphQL queries and mutations for efficient data fetching.
- Collaborate on cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
- Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Proficient in React and TypeScript with a strong understanding of related libraries and frameworks.
- Familiar with GraphQL and its integration with front-end applications.
- Degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- At least 1 year of front-end engineering experience, preferably in a startup environment.
- Experience in building front-end components for data visualization and analytics is a bonus.
