Overview
Join Microsoft as a Software Engineer in Dublin, Ireland, where you will be part of a dynamic team focused on developing high throughput and multi-tenant services. This role is integral to Microsoft's mission to empower every person and organization on the planet to achieve more. You will work on Microsoft Entra ID, a critical component of Microsoft's cloud strategy, which supports millions of tenants and billions of identities.
Responsibilities
- Design and Develop: Create large-scale distributed software services and solutions. Ensure that services and components are well-defined, modularized, secure, reliable, diagnosable, actively monitored, and reusable.
- Engineering Excellence: Develop "best-in-class" engineering practices for our services, focusing on testability, portability, monitoring, reliability, and maintainability.
- Customer Focus: Use a data-driven approach to address customer and partner needs.
- Troubleshooting and Optimization: Enhance automation, reliability, and monitoring for LiveSite.
Qualifications
Required:
- 2+ years of professional software engineering experience.
- Proficiency in one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, C/C++, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
- Ability to work as part of a geo-distributed group.
- Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
