Responsibilities
- Module Implementation: Own the implementation of a module, application, or product.
- Architectural Discussions: Participate in complex architectural discussions involving multiple systems within a large, distributed architecture.
- Gap Identification: Identify product or functionality gaps and collaborate with internal product and technology teams to define necessary developments.
- Integration and Leadership: Drive integration efforts and lead critical work streams of strategic initiatives sponsored by senior executives.
- Engineering Excellence: Promote engineering excellence through CI/CD, test automation, and by creating reusable, production-ready frameworks.
- System Stability: Engineer stable, performant systems by proactively discovering and mitigating production issues.
- Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation related to projects.
- Peer Reviews and Scrum Participation: Engage in peer code reviews and fully participate in all scrum team activities.
Qualifications
- Strong applied experience in software development.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring framework, REST, and experience with GIT and Kafka.
- Familiarity with TCP/IP networking and web infrastructure applications.
- Experience in designing and implementing financial systems/platforms.
- Knowledge of identity and access management, cryptography, and vulnerability management.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple locations and time zones.
Additional Information
- Recent Graduates: Must have graduated within the past 12 months or will be graduating by Spring/Summer 2024 with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Work Authorization: Must be able to obtain authorization to work in the U.S.
