Job Overview
Join Sovos as a Solution Architect for Global Tax Determination and play a pivotal role in supporting our go-to-market organization. This position is ideal for someone with a deep understanding of global tax determination requirements and a passion for guiding customers through the integration of Sovos solutions into their IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Domain Expertise: Provide expertise in integrating external tax determination solutions into leading ERPs like SAP S/4 HANA and Oracle Cloud.
- Client Discovery: Lead the client discovery process to uncover challenges in the indirect tax spectrum and propose appropriate Sovos integration solutions.
- Technical Leadership: Participate in technical discussions, offering guidance on integration best practices and strategies.
- Collaboration: Work with stakeholders to gather business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Documentation: Create and maintain architecture documentation, including system diagrams and data flow diagrams.
- Sales Support: Collaborate with sales teams to present Sovos solutions as part of ERP transformation projects.
- Mentorship: Mentor junior team members and foster a culture of continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience: 5+ years in solution architecture and software integration, focusing on SAP or Oracle.
- Skills: Strong understanding of SAP HANA architecture, data modeling, and global tax determination.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Project Management: Strong project management skills with the ability to see projects to completion.
