Job Description
As a Cloud Solution Engineer at Oracle, you will partner with customers, sales, engineering, and product teams to design, demonstrate, and deploy Oracle Cloud architectures that address customer business problems. Your role will be pivotal in driving Oracle Cloud customer consumption by accelerating the adoption of Oracle cloud services, including discovery, design, and deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Engagement: Collaborate closely with sales representatives on a select number of customers, providing technical leadership and support to convince customers of the value of Oracle Cloud Technologies.
- Technical Leadership: Orchestrate technical resources to define, drive, and implement long-term strategies for ISVs in EMEA.
- Solution Design: Engage with Oracle Cloud technology teams to support in creating solution designs, architectures, POCs, and tailored technical workshops.
- Customer Success: Ensure the successful experience of customers in your territory by understanding their overall portfolio, IT, and business priorities.
- Innovation and Strategy: Inform customers about Oracle's emerging technologies and how they create value and competitive differentiation.
Skills & Profile
- At least 5 years in a chief architect role or similar in software engineering or data science.
- Experience in software development lifecycle, enterprise architecture, and cloud-native services.
- Strong understanding of current technologies around data fabric, AI, data science, and machine learning.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
- Fluent in German and English at C2 level.
Additional Skills
- Experience in strategic thinking and influencing power.
- Proven track record in leading C-Level engagements.
- Cloud Technologies certifications are a plus.
