About The Role
Swift, a global leader in secure financial messaging services, is seeking a highly skilled and expert Solution Architect to join our team in Miami, FL. This role is pivotal in designing and implementing robust, scalable, and secure solutions that meet the business requirements of our clients across the US and Canada.
What To Expect
- Solution Design: Develop comprehensive architectural designs that align with business objectives and technical requirements.
- Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring consistency to architectural best practices and standards.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and issues in solution designs and develop mitigation strategies.
- Performance Optimization: Ensure solutions are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
- Technology Evaluation: Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and evaluate their potential impact on current and future projects.
What Will Make You Successful
- Strong business understanding and commercial sense including understanding how different divisions contribute to meeting Swift's business objectives as well as understanding market drivers of success and how to improve offerings while optimizing commercial performance.
- Experience with enterprise integration patterns and tools (e.g. API gateways, ESBs).
- Financial industry or payments experience
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
- Strong written and verbal communication in English and Spanish, Portuguese or French are a plus
- 10+ years of experience as a Solution Architect or similar role.
