The Role

We are looking for a Staff DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to join our team. The role involves improving automation and standardization across the entire engineering department by fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the DevOps practice. The goal is to empower other teams to be as independent as possible by providing supportive tooling, including a stable and well-maintained infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and automate CI/CD pipelines using industry-standard tools (e.g., Github Actions) while considering regulatory requirements.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration management.
• Guarantee high availability of the infrastructure by leveraging site reliability engineering (SRE) best practices.
• Facilitate knowledge sharing and empowerment within the team and across the engineering department.
• Evaluate and design resilient systems while keeping the total cost of ownership (TCO) in mind.

What We Are Looking For

• Proficiency in automation and tooling, including scripting and CI/CD tools.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes, GitOps, Terraform, and Prometheus.
• Proven familiarity with operating system and computer network essentials (DNS, TLS, and HTTP).
• Skills in monitoring system health, identifying issues, and implementing solutions.
• Good communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.

Desirable Skills

• Good programming and scripting skills in Go, Python, or Bash.
• Experience with either cloud or other managed infrastructure.
• Experience in managing a microservice-based technology landscape.
