Job Overview
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at EOS Karriere, you will play a crucial role in the development and operation of our new debt collection system. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth transition from our legacy system to the new platform, focusing on automation and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- System Development and Transition: Lead the introduction of our new debt collection system and manage the decommissioning of the old system.
- Automation: Implement configuration as code to enhance system repeatability and reliability.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Architecture and Operations team to support various teams across the organization on DevOps-related topics.
- International Collaboration: Engage with both German and international colleagues to ensure seamless operations.
Required Skills and Experience
- Professional Background: Completed vocational training with extensive experience in the DevOps field, ideally with a background in software development.
- Technical Expertise: Proficient in containerization, Kubernetes, and Git. Familiarity with Ansible, Linux, Bash, GitLab CI, and Nginx is advantageous.
- Additional Skills: Experience with Graylog and Kibana is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Personal Attributes: Strong initiative, independence, and a high willingness to learn. Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in both German and English.
