Senior DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead our efforts in transforming our legacy infrastructure into a modern, scalable, and efficient ecosystem. This role involves not only hands-on technical work but also a significant focus on mentoring others on DevOps practices. You will be instrumental in embedding a DevOps culture across the organization and ensuring best practices are followed.
Infrastructure Modernization
- Lead the migration of services from EC2 instances to fully utilize AWS services, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
DevOps Culture Advocacy
- Champion the adoption of DevOps practices within the team and across the organization, promoting automation, continuous integration, and continuous deployment.
Mentorship and Training
- Provide guidance and mentorship to team members and stakeholders, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct workshops, training sessions, and code reviews.
Automation
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform. Ensure automated configuration and management of environments.
Kubernetes Management
- Oversee the deployment, management, and scaling of applications on Kubernetes.
Collaboration
- Work closely with development and other operational teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
Monitoring and Optimization
- Implement monitoring solutions to ensure system health and performance. Proactively identify and address potential issues and bottlenecks.
Documentation
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, AWS Certified Solutions Architect).
- Experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
