Your Impact
As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Otrium, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating and automating the processes of developing, testing, and releasing software, enabling continuous delivery of software and updates. You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic goals and advocate for continuous improvement across the Tech and Product departments.
Responsibilities
- Build and set up new development tools and infrastructure.
- Ensure Otrium's infrastructure is stable, scalable, and secure.
- Automate and improve development and release processes.
- Manage efficient allocation of resources for all services.
- Maintain systems security against cybersecurity threats.
- Identify technical problems and develop solutions to overcome them.
- Collaborate with software developers and engineers to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Address tech debts and present new ideas to improve the platform.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- At least 5+ years’ experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Extensive cloud experience, particularly with AWS and Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes), infrastructure as code (Terraform/CloudFormation/Serverless), and CI/CD (Codefresh or similar).
- Experience with NewRelic, Prometheus is advantageous.
- Strong relationship management skills with vendors.
- Proactive, curious, and resilient attitude.
- Excellent communication skills, ensuring transparency and stakeholder engagement.
