About the Role
At Branch, we are seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join our dynamic team in Austin, TX. This role is pivotal in developing and maintaining the frontend of our web applications, ensuring seamless user experiences and robust backend integrations.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to refine requirements and participate in design discussions.
- Spec out implementation details and work collaboratively to bring features to life.
- Work across the stack, enhancing user interfaces and backend services.
- Tackle complex debugging and troubleshoot hard problems.
- Ensure high-quality features by working closely with the QA team and writing comprehensive tests.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in building web applications.
- Proficiency in React, Redux, and Typescript.
- Strong understanding of Node.js and CSS.
- Experience with Webpack, CI/CD platforms like Github Actions, and RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge in SQL and a strong product sense with an eye for design and UX/UI.
Nice to Have
- Experience with authentication and authorization systems.
- Familiarity with Docker and EKS.
Workplace and Schedule
This role is based in our Austin office and follows a hybrid schedule aligned with our Return to Office guidelines. Please note that this role does not qualify for US visa support and is not open to supporting relocation at this time.
