Within this hub, we are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join the Forms Frontend team to help shape the future of our Forms product.

About the Forms Frontend Team

The Forms Frontend team is part of the Visitor Experience Product Group within Marketing Hub. This group is responsible for building the Forms, CTAs, Cookie Banner, Lead Scoring, and Audiences applications at HubSpot. We offer a Developer API and a platform for other teams to build on, working at a high scale to create some of the most widely used products in HubSpot.

Role and Responsibilities

As a Staff Software Engineer on the Forms Frontend team, you will:

• Write and ship production code that has meaningful user and business impact.
• Envision, build, and analyze new features and tools, each contributing to company growth and revenue.
• Work with a small cross-functional team of engineers, PMs, designers, content designers, and researchers.
• Collaborate with HubSpotters across the company, including engineering, product, design, research, marketing, and sales.
• Help HubSpot users meet their goals through changes you’ve made.
• Implement experiments that provide valuable insights into user behavior and how to improve their experience.
• Gain exposure to how HubSpot operates as a business.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking engineers who have a track record of unique excellence, leadership, and the ability to elevate those around them. On the frontend, we work with React and TypeScript, but experience with specific technologies is secondary to strong programming fundamentals.

Desired Skills and Experience

• A passion for clean, scalable code and product feature development and innovation.
• Experience working closely with product management and designers to create solutions that exceed customer needs.
• Ability to work collaboratively with the team to solve problems, transfer knowledge, and develop overall product architecture.
• Coaching and mentorship experience.
• A track record of partnering successfully with recruiting to build remarkable engineering teams.
