Staff Frontend Engineer - Product Architecture

Job Overview

Wrike is seeking a Staff Frontend Engineer to join our Product Architecture team. This role is pivotal in developing and evolving our technical foundation, client architecture, and development tools. As a Staff Frontend Engineer, you will have the autonomy to make significant decisions that will impact the Wrike product, while also having opportunities for personal growth and learning.

Responsibilities

• Identify and Improve Performance: Analyze and enhance the performance of our applications by identifying weak points.
• Develop Core Features: Work on core product features such as routing, micro-frontends, and communication protocols.
• Enhance Developer Experience: Build tools and linters to support our development team.
• Implement Monitoring: Use code metrics, error tracking, and other mechanisms to ensure high-quality products.
• Collaborate in Scrum Teams: Work in a classic Scrum environment within an independent team of 8-10 members.

Technologies We Use

• Frontend Frameworks: React + Typescript, Angular + Dart for legacy features.
• Build Tools: Webpack, ESLint, PostCSS, Microfrontends.

Qualifications

• Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience in web development.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in React, Webpack, and Redux.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Performance Optimization: Experience in optimizing web application performance.
• Microfrontend Design: Experience in designing microfrontend-based applications.

Preferred Skills

• Web Application Architecture: Experience in building architecture with React.
• Complex Components: Ability to build complex components like Dashboards and Table Views.
• Real-Time Updates: Experience with WebSocket, Progressive loading, and Real-Time Updates.
• Team Player: Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude.
• Leadership: Ability to mentor and inspire confidence in colleagues.
