About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Staff Fullstack Engineer to join our Fondue team at Postscript. This team is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting the Fondue Cashback product line, which aims to increase profitability and transform promotions into relationships for ecommerce merchants. Our innovative approach replaces traditional coupon codes with brand-embedded CashBack, offering a more profitable alternative.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implement Microservices: You will design and implement microservices using TypeScript and Node.js, backed by MongoDB and other NoSQL datastores, within an AWS environment.
• System Design at Scale: Engage in designing systems that scale efficiently and are flexible enough to accommodate evolving business strategies.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with a global team, primarily during EST hours, to ensure seamless integration and functionality of our Cashback offering.

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: Minimum 8-10 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in TypeScript (Node.js).
• SaaS Product Engineering: Proven experience in engineering SaaS products on a cloud platform for at least 3 years.
• NoSQL Databases: Experience with NoSQL databases is a plus.
• Independent and Communicative: Ability to work independently while maintaining excellent communication with the team.
• Problem Solver: A natural problem solver with a can-do attitude and a passion for impact at scale.
• Leadership Potential: Past leadership experience or a desire to grow into a leadership position.
