Overview
As a Senior Backend Engineer at Postscript, you will be part of the Acquisition and App Experience Team, focusing on developing and enhancing acquisition tools that help ecommerce brands grow their subscriber lists both on and off-site. Your technical expertise will directly contribute to our customers' success and Postscript's growth.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and deploy new technical solutions for various groundbreaking projects.
- Architect, build, and maintain highly available, extensible, and scalable REST APIs for external and internal customers.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver a world-class product.
- Take ownership of your solutions, exploring bold ideas to achieve outstanding results.
- Mentor other engineers, providing guidance on best practices and growth opportunities.
Requirements
- Proven track record of leading teams and projects through phases of ambiguity and challenge with great results.
- Extensive experience building large-scale backend applications and APIs using Python (Flask, SQLAlchemy), and familiarity with AWS.
- Experience with relational databases and SQL, with a focus on database modeling.
- Experience building applications on AWS services and maintaining high observability.
- Stellar verbal and written communication skills.
