Job Overview

Join Microsoft's Netherlands Azure Data & AI Team as a Senior Solution Specialist in Data & AI, focusing on the Financial Services sector. This role is pivotal in driving AI transformation for enterprise customers by leading, developing, and managing a portfolio of intelligent data and AI solutions. You will be responsible for driving data and AI strategies and solutions in partnership with our customers, including modern data warehousing, analytics, insights, and governance platforms, as well as machine learning and AI solutions, including Generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Execution

• Engage in conversations with customers aligned to their industry.
• Collaborate with account and partner teams to drive and qualify new opportunities and build a pipeline.
• Identify customer business and technology readiness.
• Proactively build external stakeholders' mapping.
• Implement strategies to accelerate the closing of deals.
• Contribute input on strategies to drive and close prioritized opportunities.
• Coach team members in deal plan execution and implement close plans.

Scaling and Collaboration

• Collaborate with Global Partner Solutions (GPS).
• Identify new partners and develop joint proposals with partners.
• Contribute to developing partner strategies.
• Apply role orchestration model and navigate the Microsoft organization to bring the best impact to the customer.

Technical Expertise

• Lead conversations and set up events within Microsoft.
• Mentor others and develop strategies for best practice sharing.
• Initiate conversations with prospective customers/partners at events.
• Act as a subject matter expert in one or more solution areas.
• Collaborate with the 'compete' global black belts (GBB) to analyze competitor products, solutions, and/or services and implement strategies.

Deliver Results Through Teamwork

• Drive the execution of projects.
• Partner and collaborate with other teams on related deliverables.
• Leverage others in relevant work streams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Technology-related sales or account management experience.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent qualification) combined with technology-related sales or account management experience.
• Experience in Solutions Sales position working with AI solutions ranging from Machine Learning solutions, deep learning, and generative AI including Open AI, Llama2, and others.
• Experience in Solutions Sales position working with Data solutions ranging from structured/relational to semi/non-structured data such as Cloud-based Data Warehouses, Databricks, Hadoop, Spark, Data Lake, SQL solutions required MySQL, PostgreSQL, NoSQL (Mongo), and PowerBI.
