About the Role
As a Senior Data Scientist at Futurice, you will play a crucial role in contributing to our generative AI initiatives, solving complex problems, and providing advice to decision-makers. You will lead the design and development of tailored solutions that leverage Generative AI, harnessing the power of LLMs to address complex business challenges.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of AI solutions using LLMs to tackle complex business challenges.
- Work with LLMs, vector embeddings, and retrieval systems to develop comprehensive GenAI applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop AI use cases that provide real value to users.
- Advise and support stakeholders on applying AI methodologies to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Lead and mentor within the AI domain, driving innovation and excellence in the Data Competence.
- Support our sales team by leveraging your technical expertise to contribute to customer success and drive project engagements.
Qualifications
- MSc in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience in Generative AI, machine learning, and software development.
- Proficiency in programming skills such as Python and AI-related libraries and frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with LLM APIs (e.g., GPT or Llama2) and understanding of NLP.
- Experience with data and AI tools on popular cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
- Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English.
