Job Overview
NRC is seeking an enthusiastic Back-end Developer to join our Digital Media Team in Amsterdam. This role is pivotal in maintaining and enhancing our digital platforms, including nrc.nl and our mobile applications, ensuring they remain premier outlets for quality journalism.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Front-end Developers to develop all digital outputs of NRC.
- Build and optimize new features for our websites and apps.
- Stay updated with the latest back-end development technologies and practices.
- Manage the infrastructure of our digital products.
Who You Are
- Experienced in back-end programming.
- Interested in news and contributing to the digitalization of journalism.
- Proficient in Python and SQL (preferred).
- Solution-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Fluent in Dutch.
