About the Role
Rhombus is seeking an API Integrations Engineer to join our team in Sacramento, CA. This role is pivotal in expanding our API capabilities and integrating with new partners. You will work closely with our frontend web application, primarily using React and TypeScript, to create seamless integrations and custom features for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Data Integration: Pull data from REST APIs and parse it into React components on the frontend.
- Platform Integration: Integrate third-party products directly into the Rhombus platform.
- Custom Features: Implement custom features for partners and customers.
- Troubleshooting: Address frontend local and global state issues as they arise.
Who You Are
- Educational Background: BS or equivalent in Computer Science.
- Experience: At least 1 year of production-level software development experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in at least two programming languages, with experience in integrating RESTful APIs and working with React and TypeScript.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Self-Starter: Comfortable making important decisions with limited oversight.
Workplace
This is an on-site position based in Sacramento, CA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office 2-3 times a week.
Compensation
- Base Salary: €80,000 - €90,000 annually.
- Additional Compensation: May include sales incentives, discretionary bonuses, and equity in the company.
