Join the Aladdin UX Design Team at BlackRock, where we focus on researching and designing the user experience for the Aladdin investment and risk analytics platform. Our team practices a human-centered design approach, ensuring that our software solutions are grounded in user needs and enhance the functionality of BlackRock’s Aladdin enterprise platform.
Responsibilities
- Take ownership of design for a subset of Aladdin’s tools used by internal and external users.
- Develop and implement user experiences that align with business objectives, ensuring a seamless user experience.
- Design detailed workflows, and prototypes.
- Contribute to the definition of a design language across our products.
- Ensure the quality of visual design execution for your design directions as well as extending existing design styles.
- Collaborate with UX Designers, Researchers, Product Managers, and Engineering leads to deliver end-to-end solutions.
- Create specs and documentation for your designs, working within our design system.
About You
- 5+ years of application design experience in either product or agency environments.
- BFA degree in Visual Communication, Interaction Design, or similar field.
- Expertise in designing user interface artifacts such as concepts, detailed designs, and prototypes.
- Strong skills in collaborating with development teams to ensure design implementation meets high quality standards.
- Experience with Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud apps is essential.
