About the Role
We are seeking an experienced AWS and Python Backend Developer to join our dynamic engineering team at FIT:MATCH.ai. This role involves developing and maintaining various software products, focusing on backend components to enhance responsiveness and overall performance. You will be responsible for writing scalable code, debugging programs, and integrating applications with third-party web services.
Responsibilities
- Write effective, scalable code.
- Develop back-end components to improve responsiveness and overall performance.
- Integrate user-facing elements with applications.
- Test and debug programs.
- Improve functionality of existing systems.
- Implement security and data protection solutions.
- Assess and prioritize feature requests.
- Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Design and architecture of the full stack web infrastructure.
- Integrate with backend web services.
- Focus on quality and continuous integration through sprint based agile process.
Your Areas of Expertise
- BS in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- A minimum of 3-5 Years of professional software development experience.
- Expertise in at least one popular Python framework (like Django, Flask, or Pyramid).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with AWS.
- Familiarity with SQL.
- Bonus Skills: Experience with CircleCi or Serverless Framework.
