Your Role

As a Software Engineer on the Breaking Bad team, you will:

• Design and build microservices to manage crucial domains within our organization.
• Work with AWS serverless products such as Lambda and DynamoDB.
• Develop in Python, ensuring you are not working on legacy systems.
• Collaborate with a small agile team to design and develop serverless applications and microservices.
• Implement new features on the backend side of our Accolade Cloud Platform.
• Work with new cloud technologies (AWS, Elastic, Python, Java) on existing and new projects.
• Contribute to best practices and guide the future of our application technologies.
• Mentor junior colleagues and work with great engineers.
• Continuously improve our user experience by automating manual work and improving reliability.
• Be part of a continuous delivery mission where your changes are delivered to production in minutes after successful automated tests.
• Work on a mission-critical project that has a high profile within the company.

Work Environment
