About The Team
The Risk group at Stripe consists of backend and full stack engineers who tackle problems through creative new product ideas and scalable infrastructure. We are undertaking several new efforts, where you can have an outsized impact on the architecture, implementation, and design choices behind these systems.
What You’ll Do
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, reliable and performant services and systems.
- Collaborate with other engineers across Stripe, as well as stakeholders across product, design, legal, and operations.
- Build easy to use systems that enable safe migrations of data.
- Make effective tradeoffs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation.
- Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes.
Who You Are
We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of industry experience in shipping high-quality products. You should enjoy and have experience building scalable backend infrastructure, possess strong analytical capabilities, and thrive in a collaborative environment.
Hybrid Work at Stripe
This role is available either in an office or a remote location. Office-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users. Remote locations are typically 35+ miles from a Stripe office, with expectations of regular work from home.
