About the Role
As a Backend Software Engineer in the Internal Controls Engineering team at Stripe, you will be at the forefront of building and maintaining high-quality compliance automation systems. Your work will be crucial in ensuring that our infrastructure platforms are reliable and scalable, supporting Stripe's growth and compliance needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and Maintain Tools: You will be responsible for developing and maintaining observability tools that ensure the security and compliance of our infrastructure environments.
- Data Pipeline Management: Continuously work on increasing the accuracy and reliability of data pipelines related to compliance.
- API Implementation: Partner with other infrastructure and security teams to implement APIs for security and compliance data.
- Compliance Testing: Implement compliance testing APIs and frameworks to drive efficiency and predictability.
- Customer Experience: Build a great customer experience for developers and business partners using your products.
Who You Are
We are looking for candidates who meet the following requirements:
Minimum Requirements
- Experience: 3+ years of engineering experience or equivalent work experience in relevant domains.
- Technical Background: Strong technical background gained through education or on-the-job experiences.

Work Environment
