About the Role
Join Stripe as a Full Stack Engineer in the Compliance Foundations team, where you will play a crucial role in developing high-quality compliance applications for both internal and external customers. This position is based in Bucharest, Romania, and requires a strong background in product development and a passion for delivering exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain products and features that support compliance use cases at Stripe.
- Build new applications on top of Stripe’s existing compliance infrastructure.
- Collaborate with infrastructure and security teams to design and prioritize new platform features.
- Implement applications that address specific compliance use cases.
- Ensure a great customer experience for developers and business partners using your products.
Who You Are
We are looking for engineers with a background in product development who are interested in delivering great user experience products. Whether you have been working in compliance, security, or infrastructure, or are looking to apply your skills in a new domain, we want to hear from you.
Minimum Requirements
- 3+ years of engineering experience or equivalent work experience.
- Experience in building products and features centered around users’ needs.
- A strong technical background gained through education or on-the-job experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in product development and design.
- Interest in optimizing the reliability, latency, and UX of user-facing front-end applications.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse group of people, contributing to a high level of psychological safety for all team members and partners.
- Problem-solving skills, determination, and a growth mindset.
Work Environment
This role is on-site in Bucharest, Romania, with an expectation to spend at least 80% of the time in the office. This approach helps strike a balance between in-person collaboration and flexibility.
