Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team and work on a project for our client in the automotive industry. The role involves augmenting our existing cloud engineering team with additional expertise in AWS technologies. You will play a crucial role in transitioning, optimizing, and expanding our existing cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Infrastructure and Pipeline Development: Lead the development of infrastructure and pipelines for new projects, ensuring alignment with organizational standards and security guidelines.
- Cybersecurity Enhancement: Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify and mitigate critical security issues in our legacy environment.
- Terraform Modules Development: Develop reusable Terraform modules for infrastructure teams such as Database, Linux, and Windows, ensuring they are robust, efficient, and scalable.
- Transversal Services: Design and develop cross-departmental cloud services, ensuring they adhere to organizational standards for scalability, reliability, and security.
What You Bring
- Deep knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
- Experience with AWS security best practices.
- Strong proficiency in writing, testing, and maintaining Terraform code.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines, preferably with experience in GitHub or similar tools.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively, from network configurations to application-level issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with collaborative tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Scripting skills in languages like Python and Bash.

This position is based in Uccle, Brussels Region, Belgium.
