Join Amazon as a DevOps Engineer
Are you passionate about cloud computing and eager to work on innovative solutions for state-of-the-art silicon design? Amazon is looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the Blink/Ring ASIC team. This role offers the opportunity to work with a variety of AWS services and infrastructure, including compute, storage, containers, serverless, and systems management.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and Maintain AWS Infrastructure: Use infrastructure as code to manage AWS resources, ensuring they are robust and secure.
- Linux Systems Administration: Act as a Linux systems administrator for silicon design and verification engineers.
- DevOps Tooling: Create tools, scripts, and containers to address DevOps needs and support fast-paced development and testing.
- Operational Support: Provide operational support to a dynamic team, ensuring the health and performance of AWS resources.
A Day in the Life
- Monday: Investigate and resolve issues in CI/CD job queues.
- Tuesday: Deploy new third-party tools and network filesystems.
- Wednesday: Update test environments with security patches.
- Thursday: Assist with AWS SSM-managed Raspberry Pi issues.
- Friday: Improve Python infrastructure as code and Docker containers.
Basic Qualifications
- Knowledge of systems engineering fundamentals, including networking, storage, and operating systems.
- Experience programming in languages such as C++, C#, Java, Python, Golang, PowerShell, or Ruby.
- Experience with AWS cloud solutions in a DevOps environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner certification.
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools like CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform.
- Hands-on Linux systems administration and troubleshooting skills.
- Experience with Docker and continuous delivery models.
