Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud Engineer to join our team in Uccle, Brussels Region, Belgium. This role is crucial for enhancing our cloud infrastructure and ensuring operational excellence. You will work closely with various internal teams to provide a robust and efficient cloud-based environment.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Infrastructure Development
- Lead the development of infrastructure and pipelines for new projects.
- Ensure alignment with organizational standards and security guidelines.
Cybersecurity Enhancement
- Collaborate with the cybersecurity team to identify and mitigate critical security issues.
- Proactively work with development teams to enhance security measures.
Terraform Modules Development
- Develop reusable Terraform modules for infrastructure teams such as Database, Linux, and Windows.
- Ensure modules are robust, efficient, and scalable.
Transversal Services
- Design and develop cross-departmental cloud services.
- Ensure services adhere to standards for scalability, reliability, and security.
Required Skills and Experience
- Deep knowledge of AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, etc.
- Experience with AWS security best practices.
- Strong proficiency in writing, testing, and maintaining Terraform code.
- Understanding of DevOps principles and CI/CD pipelines.
- Ability to troubleshoot issues effectively, from network configurations to application-level issues.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Experience with collaborative tools like JIRA, Confluence, or equivalent.
- Scripting skills in languages like Python and Bash.
