Your Future Role
As a Senior Cloud Engineer at SAP, you will join an agile team responsible for managing and provisioning our service infrastructure. You will play a crucial role in extending and improving our observability infrastructure, which is vital for monitoring, logging, and alerting capabilities for our services. Your tasks will include designing, implementing, and ensuring high-quality delivery of solutions. Additionally, you will respond to incidents and conduct root cause analysis to prevent future issues.
Your Profile
You should have a degree in computer science, informatics, business informatics, or a related area. Experience in one or more programming languages, preferably Python or Golang, is essential. You must have experience in container-based software deployment using Kubernetes and Helm, and familiarity with open-source monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana. Strong English language skills and the ability to work effectively in a team are also required.

The Common Service Infrastructure team, which you will be part of, provides integrated data platform and infrastructure services that are foundational to SAP's major cloud offerings like SAP HANA Cloud, SAP Datasphere, and SAP Analytics Cloud.
