TikTok is seeking a talented Data Scientist specializing in Machine Learning to join our dynamic Data Science team. This role is pivotal in developing cutting-edge machine learning models and algorithms to enhance our platform's user experience and ensure compliance with community guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Data Collection and Preprocessing: Design and develop data collection pipelines to gather and preprocess diverse datasets from various sources.
- Data Processing: Create data processing pipelines, including data labeling, filtering, cleaning, visualization, and auditing.
- Machine Learning Implementation: Implement machine learning models to improve data quality and diversity.
- Algorithm Development: Develop machine learning models and algorithms to detect issues within the current moderation system and the broader TikTok ecosystem.
Qualifications
- Educational Background: Major in computer science or a related technical discipline.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in building large-scale data processing pipelines and familiarity with distributed workloads (e.g., multiprocessing).
- Programming: Proficiency in at least one programming language commonly used in machine learning, such as Python, and the ability to write clean, maintainable code.
- Deep Learning Frameworks: Proficiency in at least one deep learning framework, such as PyTorch.
- Experience: At least 3 years of experience in machine learning, pattern recognition, NLP, data mining, multimodality, or LLM.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary: The base salary range for this position is €144,000 - €240,000 annually.
