This team is responsible for the content creation entry points of TikTok, working closely with product and cross-functional teams to explore new formats and build a trusted platform with privacy and security.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop backend features that impact over 100 million users.
- Collaborate with a diverse and intelligent team to propose and develop new product ideas.
- Evolve the architecture of distributed backend systems to support TikTok's future growth.
- Deliver high-quality products quickly in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications
- BS/MS Degree in Computer Science or related field with 5+ years of experience.
- Experience in building backend services for large-scale consumer-facing applications.
- Proficiency in Java, Go, C++, or Python.
- Deep understanding of computer architectures, data structures, and algorithms.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Responsible, self-motivated, and growth-oriented.

Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: $194,000 - $355,000 annually.
- Additional discretionary bonuses and restricted stock units.
