Team Introduction
As a Data Scientist in the Live Streaming and Real-Time Communication (RTC) team, you will tackle challenges by analyzing and mining vast amounts of data to enhance the video streaming experience for billions of users globally. You will leverage your expertise in data analysis and data mining to drive improvements and innovations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct data analysis related to live streaming and RTC products.
- Ensure data quality by monitoring event tracking, participating in design reviews, and collaborating with the data engineering team.
- Build efficient data ETL processes and maintain data SLAs.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive metrics system for live streaming and RTC, including defining indicators, building dashboards, and conducting root cause analysis.
- Perform data analysis based on business requirements and support special projects.
- Support A/B testing initiatives by optimizing processes, providing attribution analysis, and generating reports.
- Identify data optimization opportunities and provide suggestions to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve online issues and improve service quality.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency in data manipulation using SQL, Python, R, or other programming languages/tools.
- Experience in building dashboards, conducting quantitative analysis, data visualization, and reporting.
Preferred Qualifications
- Passion for working with large and complex data sets.
- Experience in the livestream/RTC area is a plus.
- Experience in root cause analysis.
- Experience in mentoring and developing team members.

Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: €130,000 - €240,000 annually.
