Team Introduction
The Data Platform-Data Architecture team is dedicated to developing the next generation DBMS kernel, focusing on achieving best-in-class query latency and hardware utilization. You will be part of a team that manages the distributed OLAP infrastructure powering our cloud-native data warehouse, essential for data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement reliable, scalable, robust, and extensible big data systems that support core products and business.
- Build the world-leading cloud-native OLAP engine for PB-level data sets.
- Optimize and contribute to open-source data frameworks such as Spark SQL, Presto, Clickhouse, Doris, Alluxio, Velox, etc.
- Architect internal data warehouses and data lakes to support all business units.
- Innovate solutions for system scalability, reliability, and availability issues.
Qualifications
- BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Familiarity with commonly used algorithms, data structures, network programming, and multi-threaded programming.
- Experience with OLAP/OLTP database kernel optimization including storage, operator, optimizer, and code generation.
- Experience with native programming languages like C++, Rust in production environments.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this position is $187,040 - $280,000 annually. Compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skills, competencies, and location. We offer comprehensive benefits including 100% premium coverage for employee medical insurance, approximately 75% for dependents, and a Health Savings Account (HSA) with a company match. Additional benefits include Dental, Vision, Short/Long term Disability, Basic Life, Voluntary Life and AD&D insurance plans, and more.
