About the Role
The Global Product & RD team is responsible for building core TikTok products to ensure continuous growth and deliver the best product experience. As a Senior Data Scientist in the Global Search team, you will lead data analysis efforts related to international product search business, providing insights and optimization solutions to enhance user search experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team in conducting in-depth analysis within the business domain to identify optimization points for user search experience.
- Collaborate with product, operations, algorithm, and development teams to implement optimization solutions.
- Design and analyze A/B experiments, evaluate product optimization outcomes, and establish data systems.
- Stay informed about industry trends and provide directional analysis guidance to the search business.
- Build specialized models to support business needs.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in mathematics, statistics, or computer-related fields.
- Proficient in SQL, with experience in R, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Machine learning capabilities, including regression, classification, and clustering.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Keen interest in the internet industry and desire for long-term development.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in internet data analysis.
- Prior experience in search business and team management.
