Job Overview
TikTok is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer with a focus on Computer Vision (CV), Natural Language Processing (NLP), Multimodal, and Large Language Models (LLM) to join our E-Commerce Governance team. This role is ideal for recent graduates with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field, who are passionate about applying advanced AI technologies to solve complex problems in e-commerce scenarios.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize algorithms to address risk, violation, and low-quality issues in e-commerce scenarios, including products, shopping cart short videos, and live streaming.
- Detect fraudulent behaviors and identify risky or low-quality merchants and creators.
- Optimize algorithms for large-scale brand libraries, products, and content deduplication/clustering.
- Work on data construction, instruction fine-tuning, and alignment for large models in the e-commerce domain.
- Explore reinforcement learning and operational research algorithms to improve audit quality and efficiency.
- Optimize various algorithms such as NLP, vision, multimodal, search, graph, and LLM to support governance business.
- Streamline the optimization process for computer vision models in e-commerce settings.
- Optimize video classification and multimodal content understanding for e-commerce short videos and live broadcasts.
- Research and implement large-scale multimodal algorithms in e-commerce scenarios.
- Participate in the construction of a large-scale graph storage and learning platform.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.
- Proficient in Python, Go, or C++ and able to develop in a Linux environment.
- Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms, and machine learning/deep learning theory.
- Familiarity with areas such as NLP, computer vision, multimodal, graph algorithms, and text/data mining.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and a good team spirit.
- Experience in platform governance, audit, risk control, or content security is preferred.
- Fluent English skills are preferred.
