About the Role
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer at TikTok, you will be a key player in our Technical Infrastructure team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the stability and efficiency of our content e-commerce platform in the US. You will develop tools and governance ideas, participate in the construction of stability systems, and work on identifying and resolving system performance bottlenecks.
Responsibilities
- System Stability: Ensure the stability of our US business operations by developing and implementing tools and governance frameworks.
- R&D Efficiency: Work with the R&D efficiency team to identify bottlenecks in the CI/CD process and implement tools to improve efficiency.
- Resource Efficiency: Assist in the identification and resolution of system performance issues to improve overall resource efficiency.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.
- At least 5 years of experience in software design and development.
- Experience with large-scale distributed systems and familiarity with high concurrency, high availability systems.
- Proficiency in Golang and a solid understanding of databases such as Redis and MySQL.
- Additional experience in high performance or system stability is a plus.
