About the Role
As a DevOps Engineer at Max Matthiessen, you will join our "Platform and Architecture" team, working closely with our current DevOps Engineer to build and further develop our cloud-based infrastructure on Google Cloud. Your days will be varied, involving everything from building DevOps pipelines, supporting development teams with technical and architectural issues, to establishing and managing the infrastructure for our cloud platform. You will be involved in technical decisions regarding source code management and play a crucial role in our migration from on-premises solutions to the cloud.
Responsibilities
- Provide development support to other teams
- Design, configure, and implement the underlying technical structure for our Google Cloud platform
- Create and configure automated workflows
- Work with CI/CD: from integration, testing, deployment to production
- Collaboratively plan and prioritize upcoming work
About You
We are looking for someone with previous experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar. You should have experience with CI/CD, Git (especially GitLab), Kubernetes, and Google Cloud or another cloud service. You should also have experience setting up pipelines with tools like GitLab, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins, and using tools like Terraform or similar (Ansible, Chef, Puppet). Experience in agile work environments and fluency in both Swedish and English are required.
Desirable Skills
- Strong programming skills in Java
- Experience in the finance or insurance sector
