Join our ambitious Project Team at GlobalLogic as a Senior DevOps Engineer, where you will have the opportunity to develop and hone your specialized skills while tackling a myriad of challenges. As an integral part of our strategy-building process, you will contribute your expertise to shaping the roadmap for the next generation of our platform.
Our company is looking for key experts to help our automotive client make a seamless transition to the Software Defined Vehicle concept and apply the best practices gathered in the development of the next generation of automotive platforms.
Responsibilities
- Create on-prem solutions from scratch based on Python and Jenkins.
- Support migration from on-prem to cloud-based delivery pipelines.
- Assess, support, and implement high-quality information technology architecture across different technology entities.
- Work closely with cloud & platform architecture, automotive virtualization teams, integration teams, testing teams, and IT.
- Use DevOps methodologies like continuous integration, testing, and delivery.
- Drive the product workstreams to support the deployment, and testing, including troubleshooting of the DevOps framework.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a technical specialist.
- 2+ years with on-prem solutions.
- Strong hands-on experience with mainline programming and scripting languages such as Shell, Python (nice to have knowledge in any OOP language).
- Proven production experience with building and managing release systems, code merging and promotion, and CI/CD workflows and tools.
- Expertise in the primary AWS services and concepts.
- Experience with revision control source code repositories (Git, SVN, Mercurial, Perforce).
- Experience with Zuul, Conan, and Bazel are a huge plus.
