Senior DevOps Engineer

Position Overview

We are seeking a talented and experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our growing DevOps Guild. As a Senior DevOps Engineer at Keystone Education Group, you will play a crucial role in building and optimizing our development and production environments and related processes, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems. Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and continuously improve CI/CD pipelines to automate build, test, and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with distributed development teams to streamline and optimize development workflows.
• Grow and upskill the teams and reduce their dependency on the DevOps team.
• Build, optimize and continuously improve our production environments, fostering automation, proactiveness, and self-healing. The focus will be our Linux-based environments.
• Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure the health and performance of production systems.
• Manage and configure our cloud infrastructure.
• Implement best practices for security, compliance, and disaster recovery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure-related issues in production and development environments.

Qualifications

• At least a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Alternatively, equivalent experience.
• Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role with at least 4 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, Git, AWS Amplify, or similar.
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
• Knowledge of MS Windows and Linux-based operating systems.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services cloud platform or another cloud platform.
• Proven work experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
• Experience with .NET and React tech stack.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Self-discipline and delivery focused.

The tech team works as an in-house tech department, based out in Stockholm. The responsibilities of the team encompass developing technical platforms and solutions to lay the ground for the rest of the business at Keystone Education Group.
