DevOps Engineer

Wargaming is seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join our Deployment team in Nicosia, Cyprus. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing our game servers throughout their lifecycle, ensuring their availability, performance, security, and reliability. You will also be involved in optimizing high-load services and developing automation for build, deployment, and other processes related to our games.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the availability, performance, security, and reliability of our games and infrastructure.
- Optimize and tune high-load services.
- Develop and support automation for build, deployment, and other processes.
- Maintain the sustainability of global services and operations.
- Resolve incidents and provide consultancy on the production environment.
Requirements
- Professional experience with Linux systems and system administration.
- Proficiency in Bash scripting for routine operations and automation.
- Experience with relational databases such as MySQL and PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git, SVN, or Perforce.
- Development experience in at least one programming language (Python, Golang, Ruby, Perl).
- Understanding of containerization tools (Docker, Podman, etc.).
- Experience with orchestration systems (Kubernetes, Swarm, etc.).
- Knowledge of CI/CD methodologies and tools (Jenkins, TeamCity, etc.).
- Experience with message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
- Familiarity with automation tools (Puppet, Ansible, Terraform, etc.).
- Experience with configuration and secret management systems (Zookeeper, Consul, Vault).
- Proficiency in monitoring systems (Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Ability to debug applications at the system and network level.
- Understanding of modern systems and network protocols.
- Intermediate level of English.
Additional Skills
- Expertise in building large-scale, high-volume, secure, efficient, and resilient operations environments.
- Advanced hands-on experience with Python, Rust, or Golang.
- Ability to make decisions with minimal supervision.
