Join Our Solutions Team as a Senior Developer/DevOps Software Engineer
We are looking for a talented and experienced Developer/DevOps Software Engineer to join our Solutions Team. At Travian Games, we provide various departments, such as Game Centers, Marketing, Payment, and Customer Service, with applications that support the operation of our games and enable them to perform their duties effectively. We work in an agile development environment, closely collaborating with our customers to achieve their goals.
Your Quest
- Development and Maintenance: You will be part of our development team, creating new applications for our customers and maintaining existing ones, such as Account Management, Payment, and Localization.
- Operations: Manage and operate our PHP applications in AWS using Kubernetes and Docker.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the development team and QA to deliver high-quality applications.
- Deployment: Responsible for the automated deployments of our services.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and fix issues reported by our customers and QA across all applications.
- Agile Participation: Participate in Scrum ceremonies like Standup, Sprint Review, and Retrospective.
Your Skills
- Education: University degree in information technology or comparable training.
- Experience: Profound years of professional PHP development experience.
- Database Knowledge: Experience with relational and document-oriented databases like MySQL and MongoDB.
- Containerization: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Frameworks: Proficiency in Symfony or similar PHP frameworks.
- Cloud Computing: Fundamental knowledge of cloud computing, preferably AWS.
- Principles: Familiarity with SOLID, DRY, and KISS principles.
- Agile Mindset: Enjoy working in a SCRUM environment.
- Communication: Strong team and communication skills, responsible and committed.
- DevOps Interest: Interest in DevOps topics and willingness to do on-call duties weekly.
- Language Skills: Excellent English proficiency; German is a plus.
