What You'll Do

As a DevOps Engineer at Independer, you will be part of the IT-Services team, responsible for the IT infrastructure and technical management of applications. A key component of this role involves managing our chain of applications and automated processes, which handle quote requests and mutations, and connect to external parties like insurers and data providers. You will work closely with your colleagues to manage all applications daily.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the application chain
• Maintain customer information systems
• Ensure connectivity with external parties
• Maintain backend servers

You will also advise the organization on possibilities and limitations, and work on projects to improve or expand our services.

What We Are Looking For

• At least three years of recent experience as a DevOps Engineer or Technical Application Manager
• Proven track record in implementing improvements and solving problems to enhance application performance and reliability
• Experience working in Agile and DevOps environments, collaborating closely with development teams to quickly roll out new features and updates
• Knowledge and experience with SQL, Powershell, and SoapUI
• Comfortable in a Microsoft (Windows / Azure / 365) environment

• Comfortable working under time pressure
• Willing to resolve issues or perform maintenance outside office hours
• Good communication skills in Dutch and English
• Proactive awareness of security practices and compliance requirements related to data protection and privacy
• Documentation skills to record procedures, configurations, and changes

• A salary between €3000 and €5500 gross per month, excluding holiday pay and annual bonus
• A non-contributory pension, 30 vacation days, travel allowance, and a home office and internet allowance
