Role Overview

As a DevOps Engineer at IDEMIA, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure. You will work closely with developers to manage code implementations and with operations specialists to ensure systems function seamlessly. This role requires a deep understanding of both development and operational processes, along with strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

• Release Implementation and Management: Safely implement code updates in test environments and production data centers.
• Security: Security is in our DNA. As a DevSecOps Engineer, you play a crucial role in our "Security-by-Design" approach.
• Problem Solving: Be a creative problem solver, assisting internal and external clients in identifying and resolving issues.
• Critical Systems Management: Collaborate within a team to ensure the quality of critical systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Strive for process and system improvements to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve the best results.

Required Skills

• Completed HBO or WO education and at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of coding and application management.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex problems and devise effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Ability to clearly convey technical information to various stakeholders.

Tools and Technologies

• CI/CD: Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment.
• Containerization Platforms: Kubernetes, with Terraform as a plus.
• Configuration Management: Tools like Ansible are required.
• Monitoring and Logging Tools: Such as Splunk and Zabbix.
• Technical Environment: Primarily Linux and Microsoft.

Our Offer

• Salary: Gross salary between €4500 and €5800 based on a 36-hour workweek.
• Contract: One-year contract for 36 hours per week with the prospect of a permanent position.
