About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to join our Risk Monitoring engineering team in our Riga office. This team is pivotal in developing our risk monitoring tools, which are essential for identifying fraudulent and risky behavior, thereby protecting GoCardless from potential threats.
Key Responsibilities
- Coding and Development: As an Engineering Manager, you will still be actively contributing to the codebase. While our primary language is Ruby, we welcome candidates proficient in similar languages who are eager to learn.
- Leadership and Management: This role is perfect for a strong technical leader looking to transition into a formal management position. You will collaborate closely with the Product Manager and engage with stakeholders across our offices in London and Riga.
- System Integration: Work on integrating various risk management tools to empower our Risk Strategy teams. This includes creating rules and models to detect behavioral patterns and automating actions to prevent risky activities on our platform.

Salary
The expected base salary range for this position is between €6700 and €8100 gross per month. Please note that the final offer may vary based on experience, location, and internal parity.
